Remove Excess Phlegm And Mucus In Throat And Chest
We often have issues with nasal paths congestion and throat too, thus we breathe heavy and cough too. This happens due to more phlegm in lungs. Phlegm is thick and secreted in mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, this fights infections and colds too. When it gets in the chest and throat, we cough to remove it but excess lung phlegm is due to a cold, bacteria, flu, virus and more.
Too much phlegm makes fever, weakness, runny nose, cough and hard breathing. If not removed, this can block bronchial tubes and make more problems. Some natural remedies reduce this phlegm and treat breathing issues.
LEMON AND HONEY
This mix soothes the breathing organs and gives relief. Honey kills bacteria and fungi, lemon does too. This fruit has loads vitamin C and boosts immunity. Get 1 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp lemon juice. Mix the items and drink this 3 times daily for congestion and infection removal.
GINGER
This is decongestant and antihistamine, expectorant and removes bacteria. Root can soothe chest and throat and remove phlegm. Eat 4 slices of ginger daily and drink a few cups ginger tea. Get 7 slices ginger, 2 cups water, 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp black peppercorns. Boil the water and add peppercorns and ginger, boil this and cover the pan. Lower heat and simmer 7 min. remove from heat to cool. Strain and add honey. Have 3 cups daily.
ACV
The best antibacterial cure. This stops excess phlegm and keeps healthy pH. Have 1 tbsp acv and water daily and even gargle this.
TURMERIC
This item has curcuma and removes bacteria. Get 1 tsp turmeric, ½ tsp salt and glass water. Add turmeric in water and mix, add salt and mix. Gargle 4 times daily and reduce phlegm. Salt water gargle also helps and soothes throat.
STEAMING
The best way to loosen mucus. Vapors breathing and steam loosen the mucus. Get ½ tsp rosemary, ½ tsp thyme, 5 cups boiling water. Add the thyme and rosemary in the water and lean over this. Inhale the steam 4 times daily.
To prevent mucus and phlegm, blow the nose and avoid cold drinks and foods. Also stop smoking. To control mucus, use humidifier and avoid fumes, cleaners, chemicals. Also do not swallow phlegm and just gargle warm water and spit this. Also eat spicy foods like peppers and garlic.
